Research verification
Claims are supported by credible research, historical records, data, field observation or community testimony before publication.
Source selection
We favour primary sources, peer-reviewed work and named expertise, and clearly distinguish facts from interpretation and speculation.
Corrections
Verified errors are corrected promptly and visibly on the relevant page or episode description. Corrections may be requested at hello@rethinkingafrica.africa.
Guest representation
Guests are quoted in context, informed of how material will be used, and may review their approved photographs and quotations.
AI & dramatisation disclosure
Where artificial intelligence, reenactment or dramatisation is used, it is disclosed in the content itself.
Protection of contributors
Submitted stories are handled confidentially; nothing is published without consent, and identities are protected on request.
