From Clay Pots to Quantum Futures: Rethinking African Science, Innovation, and Global Belonging

African knowledge was not pre-scientific; it was scientific, empirical, experimental and adaptive. What disrupted it was violent interruption, not internal failure. This paper uses speculative design and AI imaging to project indigenous sciences (the clay pot's thermodynamics, Ifá's binary combinatorics, Great Zimbabwe's engineering, Aroko's semiotic networks) into quantum-era futures, and proposes six epistemic principles of African scientific reasoning.
